You can join the club if..

You need a stress-free creative outlet...
because the world is on fire. Someone always needs something from you. And you're waiting to see if AI takes your job (or you're sick of hearing about it).

You'd love a hobby...
that doesn't require an Amazon cart full of expensive essentials to get started.

You want to connect with other humans...
like a little, not too much.

You'd love to write better...
but don't want to listen to a pretentious dude point out everything you're doing wrong for an hour.

You can laugh at bad jokes...
because there will be duck puns.

You're local to Monmouth County, NJ...
to join our in-person sessions in muse-worthy spaces, such as The Plant Lady's House.

Let's find joy together
Hey there, I'm Nicole, Monmouth County local and founder of Let's Ducking Write. The idea for this writing club hatched from a desperate need to find joy in my day, which was quickly being overtaken the noise of LinkedIn posts about AI, the chaos in my industry, and the demands of motherhood.
Writing is the way forward. I find joy in getting words down, but more than that, I love helping others find their spark. I wanted to create a playful, low-key space where writers (because you are a writer, whether you're "good" at it or not) could connect with themselves and feel a sense of accomplishment. And truly, being able to say "I Can Ducking Write!" does that for you.

So I hope you'll take the plunge and come write with me and the rest of the flock. You might just surprise yourself with what you can do.

I can't wait to write with you.

Waddle we be doing?

FAQs

What do I need to bring with me?
Nothing but an open mind. Of course, you're welcome to bring anything you like to write with (e.g., laptop, tablet, favorite pen).

Will there be snacks?
The Plant Lady's House has coffee, tea, and some refreshments available for purchase. Feel free to BYOL (bring your own lunch).

What if I can't make a session?
You'll still have access to the writing activity prompts for that session. Email hello@letsduckingwrite.com.

Can I sign up for just one day?
Right now, we're invested in the cohort model. It helps build trust between writers and allows for a consistent arc to the learning experience.

What's your refund policy?
Because space is limited, if you cancel your spot 24 hours before the first session, you will be refunded in full. Refunds are no longer available after the sessions begin.
